Hello!

Thank you for registering for Tails of the Space Coast! I am SO excited to have you participate in this wonderful fundraising book project!! Now that you’ve registered, the next step is to choose a date and time for us to get together for a pre-photoshoot planning consultation. During this meeting, we will go over your vision and ideas for the photoshoot (location, timing, style, etc.), sign some quick paperwork, go over any questions you may have, and take a look at some sample pieces of artwork. Bring your calendar with you, because we will also choose your photoshoot date during the meeting. If you want to get a feel for location options, there are some example photos below the calendar on this page. Keep in mind, if you would like to have a session at Cocoa Village, they frequently have events on weekends, so check their calendar first before selecting this location. After scheduling your consultation, you will be directed to fill out a questionnaire, so I can get to know you and your awesome dog(s)!

Once these steps are complete, I will send you a confirmation email. I look forward to meeting with you to plan your furbaby’s photoshoot!

*Note: If you close the questionnaire without finishing, your answers will not be saved!

Locations

In case you are unfamiliar with the locations in the booking form, here are some example locations for you to reference. Remember, if you aren’t sure, or have somewhere else special in mind, let me know and we will see what we can do - just select “other” and write your idea in the space that follows.

Rockledge Dog Park

This beautiful area is one of my favorites! It has a nice, grassy, tree-lined area beyond the fenced-in dog park. You can walk alongside the pond area for a variety of backdrops. Late afternoon sessions are gorgeous here because there is a great view of the sun setting in the west for silhouette shots!

Cocoa Village Riverfront

This historic location is an excellent choice, it provides a fantastic variety of backdrops, and the whole village is very dog-friendly! Be sure to check out a specialty dog shop called “Tails at the Barkery” while you are here!

Cocoa Beach (South 4th St.- 16th St.)

Cocoa Beach finally has a dog-friendly stretch of sandy beach to play in!!! During certain hours in the morning and evening, dogs are allowed on-leash (yes, she was wearing a leash in the picture - there is some digital magic at work here!) at the beach!
