Space Coast Dogs | Spring 2018

Oscar, Oliver, Hercules, and Buster

Dog smiles tug on my heart strings in a way that never ceases to amaze me!  For example, you could be having a horrible morning, but on your way to get coffee, you see a dog with his face out the window of a car next to you at a red light, and all of a sudden, you are smiling and waving at him!  Has this ever happened to you?  Thankfully, the Space Coast area is a wonderfully dog friendly place, and I want to share with you some of the amazing dogs I’ve met last month who have smiles capable of making the world a better place.

I met up with Oscar and his human, Michaela, in Levitt Park in Rockledge. He is a 2-year-old Boxer mix who loves to chase cats and escape whenever a door is left open!

Charlotte and Kevin took Oliver for a walk in a quiet neighborhood in Rockledge. Ollie is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd Mix, who does an adorable stretch and vocal warmup before barking to let his owners know it is time for his walk!!

Hercules is an energetic 2-year-old lab who is still learning how to walk nicely on a leash, but will sit pretty and smile if treats are involved! He had a wonderful time visiting the Cocoa Village Riverfront area for the first time this Spring. There was plenty of sun, green grass, and beautiful scenery for him to enjoy!

Buster is a 10-year-old Jackabee, but don’t tell him that! He is in total denial about his age, and is happy to show you his excellent jumping abilities! He had a blast exploring the trail at Suseda Park in Viera.
